Our next Companion to the time-and-space-traveling Gallifreyan gad-about known simply as The Doctor is Jacqueline Hill.
Ms. Hill played Barbara Wright, Susan Foreman’s history teacher (and if you read our previous Who Companion post, you know that Susan was the Doctor’ granddaughter).
In good British history teacher-fashion, Jacqueline may have been slightly more conservative than some of the Doctor’s companions, but she was still a saucy little minx in her own way — and I dig that most of the photos you can find of her show her reading or otherwise perusing some form of printed matter.
